Jin is arguably the "main character" of the story. At this point in the story hes trying to piece together the struggles and stories of all his friends so he can save them, but hes losing more and more of himself in the process

xCeleste did an explanation video on the BU - maybe that will help I believe “I need you” is showing that the 7 members are at their happiest when they are together - and miserable when they are apart.

You have some good theories, well thought out. There is a webtoon that will show you the story, when you want the confusion to end. It is a very interesting storyline, the fact that we all go to all the trouble of trying to interpret it is amazing in the world of BTS. BU is amazing.

I remember when I found this story line when I became an army in 2017. I was so intrigued. I love stories like this. Trying to figure things out by clues. Then when I couldn’t figure it out I got frustrated but I still looked into it. I kinda wish they’d do something like this again. It’s ok if they don’t though.

I read this from some army: the phone call was from V… From What I read online, I think this is the paired story lines of characters of BU : V & RM JK & Suga Jimin & Jhope Jin represents… I will stop here. And those short films are related to “I need you” and “Fake Love” which you have watched. So if you want to go back after you watch the MVs of those solos, and watch INY and FL again, the storyline will get clearer~

Yes he had part of everyone story, but if you think about I need u and Run he always observer, filming, taking photos, etc ... With Jin rich family is actually quiet good theory...but I only agree with this part if theory 😋 but every one can have their own. Hmm a lot of people wonder if members show different side of Jin but hmm but for me bc first MV had literal story for every member I never thought of that... Also worth to notice that Jin burn six pentals and then they become photos... I agree that this are more memories then literal photos. Snd when you think about I need you and every member little story, Jin was around but nothing really happened to him, but rest has problems, like in home, with family, with job, with health, with depresion, etc ... Hmm so yeah pentals are burning and become photos that symbolize theirs stories... Bird is JK Mirror with words RM Apple Jimin Piano Suga Picture of mother and child is Hobi Doors with marks are V (he was shown in cage) And actually all this things were in Jins room... If you would look close to it there were piano, there were paintings of bird, of mother and baby, but also this colorful paiting of Suga that JK did in his short story, the chain, the marked doors, the bed like in hospital, like Jimin had in his film, then apple, mirror with writing, the bird again also V graffiti... But also it is important that Jin had ear piece in ear when he was sitting but he took it off and go to the room with all this symbols of boys... hmm Then with circles lets go from first film... Jk had feather (bc of birds) JM biten circle (bc of apple) V cut (bc in I need you he stabed person) Then Suga has piano keys (bc of love for music/ piano and this will be more shown in future videos about him) RM had broken mirror (bc of mirror he write all the time to survive) Jhope has circle with Eva (the painting he see is of mother and child, and going back to Eden story Eva was first women, first mother, and his is called Mama) Then we got circles comebine together.... Jk with RM gives smoke, JM and SG gives tier marks, V and Hobi gives something liquide maybe water maybe paint, blood, rain, alkohol, maybe something melting or something else... Hmm and this will be more clear with next videos but of course not obvious it is BU nithing is obvious, Hehe... Hmm I think it is also worth to add that the wallpaper shows V graffiti, bc I wrote there is in Jin film, there is this like human figure on walls, it is from his short film and when you look close at his graffiti before policeman take him he wrote abraxas on this painting of this like figure thing... And all this is also refering "Run" mv. I tried not to give any spoliers but also not to change in any way your theory but only simply showing how things looks and maybe point things you didn't sae or connect with another videos... Hmm I think I did good job. But I will say one thing, I think it is hard to see all connections when you watched things long ago and I always recoment to watch all short films again in one go, after watching it first time... Also focusing on sounds is fun bc yes there is music from theirs songs, but for example when piano is burning we hear water, the same with burining paiting we don't hear rain but fire... Hmm Hobi short film is fun really bc there is a lot hidden there, also he eats Snickers bar and when you think about Fake love mv? Hmm... Also doctor holds his cart and you can actually pause and read it, he has diagnose there, wich is Munchausen Syndrome (is a factitious disorder in which those affected feign or induce disease, illness, injury, abuse, or psychological trauma to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves).... This are things you can literally find in this films so yeah this are no spoilers, this are things you simply had to look up watching, pause and focus, etc... But maybe it will give you food for thoughts bc it is true that Hobi is person that collapse in I need you, but when you got this info from short film what is wrong with him then hmm isn't it interesting:> Then when we look closer to RM film, there are fireworks when mirrors break, fireworks were also in I need you... Also I saw that somebody write that but V is calling him, but he can't pick up the phone, we know it bc at the end of his short film he asked policeman for a call, also in "On stage Prolog" he called at the begining "Huyng" but it can be every member except JK, but bc in I need you and Run, they are always together and in V short story we see for a moment phonebooth most asume it was always RM he called, and then Lier, hmm it is bc he didn't pick up? or something else... Hmm Going back to Suga short film we have car and accident and we see blood on road, but if we go back to first film JK is sleeping and dreaming and he hears car crash and he wakes up... And Suga is hearind all the time like calling the sound from JK film... Then in Jimin short movie there are two beds and he is trying to pillow fight but he is alone, but in RUN mv, he wasen't alone in hospital he was with Hobi, hmm.. There is a lot more.... That is why I wrote it is worth to watch them again all in one, bc there is so many connections, but if you have a lot of time between you simply forget detials, and it is normal... But this short films aren't that long so yeah... I looked if there are somes mistakes but it is to late and I simply don't see anymore, hope it is ok.

There's a lot of other things outside of MV/short films that connect to the storyline, there's a webtoon, two books called the notes, a moblie game(But they are discontinuing that as well as many of their other games 😭), concert VCRs, even blogs and hopefully someday a Drama. I know a lot of people will recommend you watch Xceleste's explain video and while I do agree her's is probably the closet to what the storyline is, it is still just a theory. I started to regret watching her videos on the BU before I got a chance to think of my own theories when she started connecting the Film out MV to the BU. While the Film out MV does have a similar things in it's story(It was created for a Japanese drama), it isn't officially connected to the BU because every MV officially connceted to the BU says so in the description. I'm not saying xceleste didn't do a good job or that you guys shouldn't watch it if you want, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up because she doesn't always made it clear that her explanation is just a theory.

This video that you saw Hobi is hospitalized for depression and comes out eating chocolate. See fake love there Hobi comes out with a room with circus and clown things and chocolates on the floor and when he is at the door he sticks to it because Jack in the box wanted go out but I don't let him.
