This was the first album that my family bought in cassette when we got our first tape deck. Before that, only vinyl. (I think we had 8-Track at home and install in the 1968 Dodge Coronet 440) Who could imagine that vinyl is back!

This is my all time favourite Paul McCartney album. Since the first time I heard Venus and Mars I fell in love with the full album. Paul's great production in it creates an atmosphere that makes every track to belong to Venus and Mars and nothing else. I LOVE YOU PAUL!!!

Simply an awesome historical piece uncovered from arguably the biggest lineup of Wings! Can't wait for the box in a couple weeks! Maybe forgotten gems like "Treat Her Gently" and forgotten singles like "Letting Go" will get new lives!

Directed by Karel Riesz at Film Contracts in London, a docu-advert company run by Leon Clore for feature film directors, Karel Reisz, Anthony Simmons, Clive Donner, Stephen Frears and Tony Richardson. It was edited by Barney Greenwood. I was the company assistant editor. Now only Stephen is still with us, and maybe Barney, I lost contact.

That was really kind of ya. :) I'm a total Paul fanboy myself and I have a love/hate relationship when he gets super corny, with the "love" side usually winning over. XD Venus and Mars _is_ a seriously great and underrated album though although my favorite Paul album might be "Off the Ground" from the early '90s. Is that your band in the videos you uploaded? I really dug their sound whoever they were!

One of my favorite Wings albums, I have the original pressing of it. Linda was looking good in this add and check out Denny Laine, he looks cool!! The song "You Gave Me the Answer" sounds like it could have come off the The Beatles "White Album" in the same vein as "Honey Pie" on side 4.
