This was the Wings for Life World Run 2024

The 11th Wings for Life World Run saw just about every kind of celebration imaginable, and for good reason: Over a quarter million participants re-confirmed the event’s status as the largest running event in the world. And more importantly, if you were one of those runners, you helped to raise a phenomenal event record of 8,104,499 euros, 100% of which will go to vital research and clinical trials to find a cure for spinal cord injury.

I have had a spinal cord injury since 2010 and I thank everyone who ran, walked or rolled for participating in this year's run. I have already signed up for next year. Exercise is medicine. ♿👍💪👏

My son has had a SCI on September 2023 and participated for the first time together with my husband. It was the best experience he has ever had. Thank you Wings for Life for all the clinical trials you are supporting. Hope will have soon the cure for SCI

WFL was my first race ever and it was amazing - there was only around 40 of us in a local park, but it was great, people waving and cheering each other. Can't wait for the next one, this time I'll be going to the flagship run in Poznań - see you there 🤩🏃‍♀
