Wingsuit flying in Slovenia

First visit to Slovenia in 2020 for some beautiful first flights. Time to get back there in 2022 for another look at these amazing locations... There is nothing like quiet time in the mountains shared with amazing people.

Very beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing and giving those of us "couch wingsuiters" a small taste. I am sure this video and others like it are helping slowly encourage others to follow their dreams of BASE and wingsuiting. We all cause a ripple effect beyond ourselves by the influence we have on those we come across in life, and I would like to think that even simply just by posting videos online such as these can help facilitate positive ripple effects in the world, even if to a very small degree. Peace of mind and happiness is contagious and this type of flying / BASE jumping looks like a fast track towards these states of awareness, I hope to someday experience this journey myself as it looks fucking EPIC! The only truly sane place to live is in the moment, and what could put you more into the moment than this sport?! Just wanted to say thanks for the video man ... and thanks to all others for taking the time to create and post their videos I for one have very much enjoyed and taken inspiration from just watching BASE jumps. It definitely takes more time to learn this stuff than I thought... The flying's great, love that, but as an Australian ~ we just don't have any landscape like that. We have the Snowy Mountains and the Great Divide, but this is all tilted 45 deg to one direction. Everything is as much vertical as horizontal. The land is on a 1 in 3 or 1 in 2 slope everywhere you look. There's nowhere on the Australian continent that's anything like that. There are little isolated patches a bit like that, but this is huge and expansive and .... Wow! Beyond tiny isolated patches, we just don't have anything like that.

the first wingsuit videos i ever saw were in a place like this. i watched them over and over. they started off with a quote i've seen many times attributed to many people. 'dream like you'll live forever; live like you're dying tomorrow.' now, that 7 minute video is gone. i've watched hundreds of these videos; this is the only one that comes close. the jagged deep rocks, the blue lake...

Not dead, it is Autumn when these flights were made, so many trees losing leaves in the mountains before the snow comes.

They are not pines, but larches (Larix decidua). They are very common higher in the mountains and they are deciduous conifers, which means they lose their needles in the autumn.
