Hey guys, if you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up! I wanted to mention two things that I forget to bring up in the video. 1. A lot of guys add shims in between the pitman arm and the steering box to reduce any sort of play and to protect the sector shaft. 2. People tend to convert to wheel studs instead of using the bolts. I wanted to bring these to attention so people have the full picture on how to build one of these beams! Hope everyone is excited for Ep. 3 Edit: added links in the description to everything used in the video!

Good timing on video. KZbin suggested this to me after I watched the class 11 race at KOH the other night, I'm betting there's a lot of people out there right now trying to learn about class 11. Good information in there. You're brave for welding that close to your truck, remember, welding slag likes to stick to glass...

This. Is. Amazing. Look, I have no idea how much you guys get paid, but you are light years ahead of anything I would ever have thought up on my own! There is this reality that people eventually arrive at, but usually when they are much older than you.... it isn't good enough to be one of the best in the world at what you do, that's just not good enough, your responsibility to humanity at large, is to make other people as good at what you do as you are.... and this does that.

Some of the guys I knew would use the section you rotated 9/16 to also add 3 " total to widen the track for better control and move the mounts and add extra gussets for strength. Good job on everything you did to that front end and steering arm keep the rod burner happy he really did a good job ...

Nice work ,great video. I'm curious though, why keep the torsion bars? With those shocks you could use through rods instead and get much better shock action and tune ability and also shave about 25lbs off the front end...... ... With the torsion bars doing most of the work you can't enjoy the full beauty of what those shocks have to offer. Longer trailing arms is also a huge upgrade. Keep up the good work.

Should run Class 11 next Year at the KOH..Big Pay day and its easy for doing any support that the car may need...Do you prefer the Ball Joint Front over the Link Pin Style Front end? Looking Good Guys!!
@WingsWorldChannel3 жыл бұрын
I watched the race the other day, looked really fun, definitely big payday for racing! As far as Ball Joint vs. Link Pin, I have heard that the linkpin beams are a little stronger (dont have to worry about destroying ball joints) but I am not sure about the travel numbers between the two, maybe someone else could chime in that knows some more.

So Bad ass!!! AWESOME video. I wish you guys did this a few months ago... when I was doing my C11 beam! haha Lots of useful info. I'm bummed because I didn't know 11 bros made a kit like that! LOL. But the kit I fabbed seems to be good enough (similar). When I raced class 9, the other racers told me to avoid the high angle balljoints - they said they didn't last as long as the Febi/Bilstein BJ's in a racing situation - Who knows if that's accurate. Also, those kings are SO SICK!!! How much for a set?????
@WingsWorldChannel3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I wouldnt be surprised if the balljoints didn't last as long. They experience more motion than the stock style so they may wear quicker. I think it is worth it to garnish a little bit more travel though.
