I guess everyone is different. I talk too much when I'm around other people ... I tend to annoy people. But when I fly, I am A LOT like these uncut videos. I chuckle here and there and I say something every once in a while like "yikes!" Or "cool!" Or "what the!" But most of the time, I'm silent. ... till I land!

Yea this is my lifelong home area and this EXACT field (McCartney field) is where I took my first paramotor lessons in the end of 2005 before I solo'd near there in the beginning of 2006. Summers are deadly hot so you have to learn new safety practices to not get in trouble, but I absolutely love it here.

@@65BAJA April usually has really great weather here. Rain is seldom and temperatures are like 80 to 85 for a high and 60 at night for a low. That's a great time of year to be here.

@TuckerGottUncut you should check out the strip mines on the south / southwest side of the superstitions. Would make amazing video with the colors of the water and the mountains and strip mining activity. I know there is an Army Rescue Helipad around there though.

Not sure which strip mines you're referring to but I've flown over the army helipad you're talking about. It's at an old abandoned WWII training airfield near Ocotillo and Schnepf Rds.

You have the Pinto Valley Mines, and the south of that you have Ray Mine. Both look like they would be pretty cool to see.@@air-edge

@@ltsky311 oh you're talking about the Pit mines out East Near Miami and Superior, AZ! Those are not South West of the Superstitions but South EAST of the Sup's so I didn't think you were talking about them. Sorry. The Ray mine is HUGE! It is like 1 250ft deep and several miles accross. I don't know what the legalities of flying over it would be cuz I've never wanted to, but I'd be VERY concerned about all the F-16's and F-35's that practice dog fighting and chasing each other at low levels through the canyons and mountains all around it and over it. I'd be very surprised if there's not some sort of military air space restriction all around there. Almost every time I'm working in out Power Substations in Ray AND Pinto Valley mines I see them chasing each other and dropping flares. (I work for The Power Company that delivers power to both of those mines)

The only thing out that way as far as airspace is a Military Training Route/ MOA, which is why you see them, but it doesn't preclude anyone from using the airspace. My suggestion if you ever wanted to fly out there, is to contact LUK AFB and let them know your gonna be in the specified area so they will pass that info on to the pilots utilizing the airspace, they also don't typically fly on Saturdays and Sundays (although they may). You could also contact DAVIS-Montham AFB. But LUK should be the only real point of contact. This region is part of the OUTLAW MOA which doesn't restrict your ability to fly there, but just gives you warning that aircraft travelling 250kts or faster might be in the area. Have you thought about using an ADS-B for further safety, as more and more drones and aircraft clog the skies.
