I love that this bed comes in 4 firmness options. I am a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper. This would be the perfect mattress for us.

I have recently come across the Wink bed and this channel doing research about it and you provide so much amazing information! It's great! I am pretty sure this is the mattress I want to go with. I currently have a Purple Hybrid and it is a great mattress, but my partner and I would like to go up to a bigger size. While the Purple is great, it is very expensive. So I think Wink will work out great! Thanks!

Great detail review for a new shopper. Haven’t shop for mattress for over 10 years. Can’t believe the industry change so much and so many choices now. Only concern is the coil springs will they wear out and sunk in after few years?

Kinda silly you did offer advice on how they differ from the micro coil version, no longer dual coils. What is the advantage of foam over the dual coil.

You are actually reviewing the plus model, all the winkbed models have micro coils the only one that does not is the plus version

@@SleepIsTheFoundation -- With all due respect, this rather important change should have been mentioned in the review. Personally, I would've included it in the title, i.e. "Winkbeds NEW DESIGN!". Otherwise, I appreciate your in-depth reviews. Keep up the good work. P.S. -- After making an inquiry with the company, I found that Winkbeds also INCREASED the number of regular coils by making them SMALLER. Winkbeds claims that these changes are IMPROVEMENTS over past models, but One has to wonder. MY guess is that the new design is probably easier to package, and I suspect that it's cheaper to manufacture as well...But, hey, I could be wrong.

Well i do like that it keeps you cooler I tend to sleep hot! Maybe I will find one that is cool and helps those who wake up with inflammation.

What soft, hybrid, foam feel mattress would you recommend for someone who tried Wink (got the Softer version) and Dreamcloud (original not Premier) and felt they were too firm? Mattress will be for a 215lb and 270lb primary side sleepers, which is why I'm thinking hybrid over all foam, for durability and support sake. I felt Dreamcloud was softer than Wink , which makes me think I prefer a foam feel to pillow top feel. Also, as if that's not all enough, there is joint/back pain happening and I'm hoping it's from sleeping on the wrong mattress. Help me Mattress Gurus, I feel like I'm going to go through 7 mattresses before I find the right one!

I am in the market for a mattress and I came across Winkbeds. I heard they are one of the best mattress for people that are stomach sleepers. I am a 70% stomach sleeper and a 30% side sleeper. I am 5'8 160lbs and I have a very bad back.. i HAVE A a herniated disc in the L4/L5 area of the back ... Every morning I wake up on my 6 year old Iserta mattress with hip and back pain b/c I went to soft. I NEED YOUR HELP ?? I am trying to decide on either the Winkbed Luxury Firm or the Fimer...I have watched just about every review on KZbin about the mattress and I THINK that the Luxury firm would be the best fit for me... What are your thoughts?

He will. I got this bed after getting rid of the Tempurpedic Luxebreeze. Best decision I have made. This heats up a little bit for me but is almost about a neutral feel temperature wise. Where as the 8 degree cooler Tempur, ended up turning into a furnace about 30-40 minutes into laying on it. I am no longer in the camp of more expensive means better as the winkbed is 4k cheaper than the Tempur was.

I hate my Wink soft version. It makes my shoulder stiff (side sleeper) and I barely sleep at all. The company says I have to keep it for 30 days. I tried it another night and my shoulder hurts. I know you have to break a bed in but I've never had a bed that I liked give me soreness and affect my sleep even when new. I guess it will live in my attic until they let me return it. Pretty stupid with their guarantee that I can't send it back now. I am at the point where I can't sleep on it because it makes me so sore it affects my work. I don't have a ton of spare room to keep Split King mattresses stored. Very frustrating.

Symbol Mattress builds WinkBeds mattresses to the specifications provided by WinkBeds. Such OEM contract builds are very common in the BIAB market. Symbol has their own BIAB under the brand LuuF and also builds many other brands of mattresses as an OEM.

You have incorrectly stated the construction of the Luxury Firm mattress. There is no 2" layer of aircell foam. That second layer below the pillowtop polyfoam is a layer of micro coils. The Winkbed Plus is the only model that substitutes a Latex layer for the micro coils. If you are going to be reviewing mattresses you need to at least get the construction right. You lose credibility when you don't provide us correct information.

@@SleepIsTheFoundation I just talked with their customer service and they told me they still use the 2" micro coils in the Luxury Firm. Actually in all Winkbed models except the Plus. The only bed that uses their aircell foam is their GravityLux which is their all foam bed. Where did you hear they were removing the mirco coils from the Luxury Firm? Their Plus model removes the micro coils for a 2.5" layer of latex, but that's the only model without the micro coils. Again I think you should update your review with the correct construction profile. I would also note that while the company HQ is in New York the beds themselves are actually made in Watertown, Wisconsin.

@teri Lovelovelove You may want to talk to customer service and see what they say about the microcoils. When I talked to customer service before I ordered mine they said the Luxury Firm still has the micro coils. I see they did change the picture of the mattress construction on their website which doesn't mention the micro coils anymore. If I were you I would talk to customer service and ask them if they have changed the design of the mattress.
