Winlaw, BC

On Hwy 6 we follow along the Slocan River. Our starting point is about halfway between the cities of Castlegar and Nelson.

Just a little after the Slocan Park Coop on your left hand side at 5:57 there is a road and a bridge you can cross over the Slocan River. Then turn right and you are on the Slocan River Road and you can go past Winlaw and then come out on the hwy before Slocan. if you like good quality food take a stop at Mama Sita's Cafe in Winlaw it is right on the hwy on your left hand side.

There is a local Author 'Iona Whishaw' that was born in Kimberly,BC & has written several novels that take place in and around Nelson & Balfour. It's nice to see this part of the province thanks to your videos.

It used to be called Lawless, but early on, in the gentrification movement, they changed the name.
