Hey Darren, Nice 180 😎 looks like you finally found it (all the while i though it was the winmau majestic or the calibra). Had a freak accident recently breaking my 3rd, 4th & 5th metacarpals, dominant hand. So. At least watching your reviews seem to help while recovering. Your darts review is by far the most meticulously detailed with all the important info & stats which all DartsNutz really like. Before i forget. Thank you for sharing your numerous reviews on the sets you've bought & spent over time. We really appreciate it because in this way, we won't have to. Great work & my best to rocky (stop overfeeding him though). 😁

Thanks mate, I do hit them now and then but I just dont play enough and when I do the reviews 90% of the time its my first throws with the darts as I think that is often how I get the best description for the feel of the grip. Ouch that does not sound good, as you may know I have had numerous injuries to my throwing arm and hand so I can understand your anguish. I was never a good healer though and always had iffy joints so hopefully you wont have any problems when its healed. No problem regarding the reviews, I am just glad people find them useful and its always nice to hear people appreciate them like you have done, so thanks to you too! Rocky is getting on a bit so I think its ok to let him have a little extra if it makes him happy lol :)

LOL thanks, how long have you been subbed? I have caught a few on video but I really dont play that much and usually my reviews are done with the first throws of the darts, I just dont have enough spare time to keep recording until I hit one lol

@@DartsReviewChannel I probably found you about a year ago or two. Really enjoy watching the reviews. At least you can got them occasionally. I've hit 2 my entire life and I'm about to be 55. Love the sport, just not good at it. Also, I'm currently throwing a set of Whitlock darts.

@@05Saleen0705 Great! I hit one in the Harrows Carbon ST review, was just a compilation of my throws while I was testing them out though. Had a few others on video too. I dont really fret over it that much as I know my throw is not the same as it was before I injured it. But although darts was always around from an early age I only played now and then and it was not until my early 30's I really got the bug. At that time though I was 100% convinced I would never ever hit a 180 as I dont have the best of eyesight but just felt it was something I would never be able to do. One day my nephew hit one and I thought well I play just as good if not better than him so if he can hit one then surely I can too. So I practiced around 2 to 3 hours a day and in a couple of weeks hit my first and then another and another, and also my one and only treble bull. I seemed to get really good all of a sudden. Was hitting a 180 just about every time I played and thought right I must join a team now. I think that was around a 6 month period where I just went crazy good in such a short time. Then I had an accident on my bike and could not throw for around 18 months. When I re-started I just could not do anything like I had done in that short time. So for about 10 years now I just struggled along trying to get some kind of throw but in that ten years I have hit just over 100 180's so I am happy enough with that. Catching one on video now and then is just that little bit extra special though! I dont pretend to be a good player nowadays and I quit worrying about it and just enjoy the fact I can throw and hit the board at all lol :) So as long as you enjoy it thats all that matters :)

Picked up a set a last week and really enjoy throwing them. Although as a natural front gripper ideally I would like the scallop slight more towards the front. On that Darren can you think of any front scalloped darts as I don’t think I have ever come across a set bar Ross Montgomery or recommend a couple f sets for a front gripper like yourself. Cheers

There is not many front scallop darts, think you could say the Merv King ones are and I think Brendan Dolans have a slight front scallop. Probably some others but I cant think.

Have never been a fan of Whitlock darts since he started using the scallop/sloping front style. But these are a little more conventional and I love a wide band groove on the front. Just wish the wide grooves went to further up the barrel. Great 180 Darren, never appologize for success.

Pretty nice darts! I always wanted a mid scalloped dart, but I only found darts with scallop on the rear section, and it's even under 50mm. :D

Why would a pro player have different grip areas milled on the barrel .? Would Simon use different positions of grip for the top and bottom of the board ? I really like the finish of these SE editions . Nice grouping on the 180 Darren .
