Not to hate anyone, but it still surprises me how Winner debuted with this concept when bands lik BTS didn't adopt this style until a year after. It's sad that Winner couldn't have the success they deserved; this still remains one of the best kpop songs I've ever heard.

Their debut is a huge success, they swipe all the charts, all their song on their debut album are on top 10 in all Korean chart, not until YG put them in hiatus after debuting for almost two years without any news of comeback and lost half of their fandoms. They are still successful until now even they have small fandom

@@mercado4501 Yeah, that's true, but I remember a lot of people complaining and not liking the first songs because they were too soft. Even YG fans complained. Most of their fans were new, which is good, but they disappeared just so fast for that same reason when their hiatus came. What I meant is that, if they had debuted a couple of years later, they probably will be just as successful as they were supposed to be. I know they're still popular in Korea, especially Mino, but they just deserved more.

I fell in love with KSY's voice in this song. So full of emotions he reminds me of Bommie. One strong point of Winner is they are all talented musicians. WINNER are Kings to me because they are Artists write and compose all their music, fashion icons, models, reality tv stars, actors. YOON is respected for his vocals by old legendary singers, 6 straight wins on king of the mask singer the only idol to do that. MINO respected in the Korean hip hop community came 2nd on show me the money. Korean hip hop community don’t usually see idols as good rappers and have prejudice but MINO and only a few idols are respected. It just came to me. When Taehyun was still with Winner, they did ballad and indie songs (which I really love) but when he left they totally changed their style. Maybe Taehyun felt that their music wasn't in the same direction. Maybe he felt that right from the start his style was different from yg. That's why they were different unlike other Yg artists who leaned more on the hip-hop style. It pains me to see Winner as 4 and I'll never look at them the same again. But right now I love Winner and Nam Taehyun just as they are and I both love their styles of music. I fully support both of them. Winner and Nam Taehyun, fighting! Sorry, I rambled on hehe

If you watch WIN YG sajangnim actually really like NamTae's style, he even got his own solo. I'd say it's the general who were complaining about Winner debut songs but me as a fan since Team A I really love it. Then YG sajangnim asked Seungyoon to stop using his guitar, he started writing more upbeat title songs and was well received. As Inseo I still love those too but mainly the whole album is better because from there I can find the old feel that I love.

Decided to listen this song after the drama on twitter over empty. Sometimes it hurts me how some people said WINNER's debut popularity solely because empty was co-composed by B.I when actually the way WINNER sang, performed and carried the song also played a role in their success. If you read the lyrics is more like about depression and mental health. And that would have been more successful had team B released it at the time.

yes.. i was concern abt their feelings more cause during win especially the last stage during the final battle, mr. Yang praised their ability to make music and said that when they debut all the track could be made solely by themselves (cause u know its suuuper normal that alot of idols got song MADE for them) and i guess alot of team b's fan got mad or smthng especially knowing that song was made by B.I during the his lowest point. And in Winner TV when mr Yang evaluate the songs that they submitted, only Taehyun's songs got positive feedback (thats why we have ibam (Tonight) and one more i forgot) and he told them about seeing B.I stayed in the studio until 3 a.m. and decided to spent the night there. It's hard when u put 2 talented boybands with their own charms and style (although both of them is YG style i would say) in a freaking popular survival show (win) when the winner gets to debut first, of course they'll got compared alot :((

It's funny to me that so many fans are surprised their songs aren't hardcore hiphop. WINNER was never a hiphop group, honestly. Even before they won Who Is Next, the other YG artists were speculating that they would probably be YG's first ballad group. Personally, I love that their style is different from previous YG groups we've seen. Even though the company is known for their hiphop, WINNER is going with their own strengths and their own style, which is a great move. So good job YG and WINNER for sticking to their guns!

For those who said they are dissapointed with WINNER genre or debut song, sorry if their colour cant match with your taste. For me this is one of the best thing that they can offered to us at the moment. Think it wisely this only a debut song. They still and will have a lot of thing to treasure in the future. Give them some chances. But i have no problem with their colour actually. I love them and i knew this kind of genre is really suit them. I know a lot of people have so much and high expectation on them because they came from YGE (which is famous and more to hip hop genre) and we have waiting for so long to see they debut but always remember that YG not a typical company which is they will debut a group if he see something different about them. Some say they're disappointed because now is summer, and the trend in summer is dance, hiphop songs. Slow and sad songs will kill their debut. I don't think so. They must be different to be outstanding. In the past, Big Bang became famous because they were different. They sang hiphop songs while other singers focused on ballad and pop songs. Now Winner do the same thing. They're trying to be different and also show their unique colors. If you have watched literally anything about WINNER you would have known they weren't going to be all crazy uptempo hiphop #swag lol. Which is why they won in the first place, because they are doing something different. I wish that everyone could love this debut as much as I do. But if a slow tempo ballad wasn't what you expected or wanted to begin with, you probably won't be able to appreciate how beautiful these two songs are. Honestly though, I'll probably be giving these two videos enough views to make up for all those people. This is the kind of music I live for. Yeah, an uptempo party song with a catchy hook may last you a summer or a year but then you'll forget about it and move on to the next song that's exactly like it. But I search for songs like this when a group comes out with a new album, and it's songs like this (touching, beautiful, lovely singing, and emotional rapping) that I keep coming back to and constantly listen to for years and never get tired of them. Katherine Darnell I feel like that was a backhanded complement. I thought this video was very well shot and had great emotional acting (especially for a MV). Taehyun's crying in the bathtub seemed very real to me. I don't think WINNER will be successful just because they are a part of YG... they will be successful because they are talented artists who work very hard. Just because a group is a part of a big company does not mean automatic success. Yes, maybe it means they will have a better chance at it because they will receive more promotion. I think it's because EMPTY was released first before this and for some reason this MV had so many issues during the release. They kept editing it and the views stopped. Even the released of this song in itunes also crashed for a couple of hours. Only this song had issues during the release. I felt like YG trying to hold the this song to pave way for EMPTY. YG didnt release a statement of what had happened but I strongly believed they wanted to promote EMPTY more than this song. It's sad coz this is a lot better than EMPTY in my opinion. Heck! even the DIFFERENT is better than EMPTY. YOu know YG and his favoritism! Since EMPTY views is ahead of COLOR RING, fans focused more on EMPTY. But.. Come on.. this doesn't mean they will forever be in this kind of concept right? I remember YG once said that he wanted Winner to have be a ballad kind of group. Besides it's just their debut. They will be around for a long time ^^ I think that they are also vertices artists like 2ne1 and bigbang! I support them fully! The mvs and their whole album is just jjang jjang! !! montanahh100 Yeah ^^ I've heard it! I actually like.. NO LOVE all of their song! Can definitely say that it was worth the wait. their music might not be like one of those hiphop/kpopish (You know what I mean right?) groups out there right now.. but in time.. I mean BIGBANG also have ballad like concepts before.. and so did other kpop groups.. I mean take Blue, Haru Haru, forever with you and many more for example... they were ballad types of songs and it surely did gain them a huge amount of popularity ^^.. I mean.. this is just the beginning for Winner. They still have a lot to learn and their careers are far long from over.. they are barely starting. But to be honest.. ever since the WIN days.. I've always thought about team a having this kind of style.. They have the feeling.. I certainly had this in mind when I saw them doing a cover for "missing you". When I hear their music.. I have this "It's them" or "This is definitely WINNER" kind of feeling and it surely fit them very well too. Just like what I said before.. they are versatile artists.. so I'm sure that they can pull of any concept ^^

Indeed... Its just a beginning, but for me winner still has their own color no matter what their music. I just respect everyone who can be themselves (like winner) and dont want to be someone else. And i hope Winner get a better treatment after this ....

some people need to shut up! WINNER NEVER was a hiphop group! I like how they are different! if they did hiphop and had bad boy concept for debut EVERYBODY would say ''oh look,they are coping Big Bang'' I'm tired of bad boy concepts and sexy oppars! WINNER IS elegant and classy! they are not a ballad group since they have rapper like Mino and choreographer like LSH.. whatever! my respect for KSY! he is such a good composer! Jinwoo has really improved!(he is so handsome) Mino's rap is hfkjsfhks and LSH has improved his rapping skills! for NamTae I have no words! he's just a perfection XD
