Black women are the most beautiful when natural. I mean, even a press looks so healthy and better than relaxed hair. I love the way she trims ends, not trying to hold on to dead ends, and it looks so much healthier.

I would say 3 times a year because when they get it trimmed the first time, a lot of times the ends of the hair is still even and in good shape after 3-4 months, but everyone hair grows different tho.

Regarding trims, if you suggest every 4 months, how should it be done? Do you need to have your hair straightened or blown out each time or can I trim my hair while in twists? My hair is very fine, dense and 4c so the single strand knots can be abundant lol. I would rather not put heat on my hair that often or at all as it is fragile due to the small cuticle diameter (fine strands). Thanks for sharing.

175.00 for wash ,roller set and cut/split ends .Sorry never mind too much.Now I know why you "recommended"for someone to cut there hair minimum 4 times a year$$$ lol incredible.p.s. people of your hair is healthy no need to cut it that much 2 times a year is more than enough.My hair is waist length and I started seeing length when I stop a salons advice to cut it every 2to 3months!just saying .p.s. I didn't curse so therefore my comment/opinion shouldn't be erased, if it is then you aren't sure of yourself or can't handle someone's opinions other than your own we'll see..
@citrynerose6 жыл бұрын
jenna31 lol your comment will remain because this is an open forum. I don’t pretend to act like there aren’t other opinions out there. Every stylist price point is based on what they feel they’re worth. I’ve been in the business for 10+ years and paid for countless classes to keep myself informed on the latest ways to keep my clients in the know. Having stylish hair is also what I push onto my clientele...cutting my hair 2wice a year would never work for me..my hair loses shape, starts to look like a mop and tapers off toward the ends. See through ends are not the goal, at least not for me and my clientele. Haircuts make my hair take shape and behave when I’m picking it out into my fro or when I’m straightening it and I want it to have movement and flow. I wouldn’t service you for 175.00 it would likely be 225.00 because your hair is below bra strap and that’s what I feel it should cost. Natural hair takes a lot of work and product which cost salons and lose money on the back end if they don’t charge the prices to accommodate all other expenses. I’m not a stylist that wants to service everyone in this world. I want to service the ppl that value my skills and are content with paying my price. If that isn’t you that’s ok. I’m sure you have beautiful hair and there’s a stylist out there that will cater to the price that suits you. Thank you for watching and for the support.
