I'm a 60 year guy and I guess as I get older my emotions get the best of me. I don't know why this made me cry like I was 6 months old but what a wonderful cry it was. His boys will be so proud of his Dad forever especially when his Dad is gone. It happened to me 2 years ago and when you loose your Dad you really remember how much you loved him.

I worked with John and hung out and had great times in the ships with him and he is a true showman ... so at ease at entertaining ! Well done Jon! I only found out he won as I was traveling and was not watching TV ... I would have voted ! Makes me proud

It is interesting how even his mosr straight foward piano playing reaches everyone and that he at the time how his music then stolls down happy go lucky street with slick moves and clever detail. Not sure if it is allowed in the rules or not, but when Ant and Dec hit the Golden Buzzer for him in the audition I would have grabbed his son as they ran across the stage, taken him with them, and let him hit the button for his dad.
