After watching her audition which brought me to tears and still does, I read about her and how she used to sing at local weddings, birthday parties etc for many years . I felt and still do so frustrated and disappointed that nobody in her community could recognize this outstanding talent and offer to help this struggling family by exposing her voice to one of the record labels through the years. As a teacher I used her as one of my supreme examples of "Don't judge a book by its cover". Also if one is asked to judge please don't pre-judge. This audition is a lesson in that. The judges did have the grace to apologize. Good for them. Well done Susan, you have taught the world a lesson. Sent from Cape Town

She really deserved her short time game. That beautiful voice SusanBoyle has and no one ever hearing it because she was so frumpy looking because she took care of her dying Mother plus was too shy to be around anyone, had no idea how to dress and ppl honestly thought she’d do so poorly . When they talked to her and she said the silly thing she said and that’s “ only 1/2 of me” ha She was trying to be as funny as she knew how and it went over like a lead balloon but when she opened her mouth what a beautiful voice that came out of that poor frumpy looking lady. When she was immediately signed as a singer . She made a lot of money with that voice, plus Hollywood dressed her , redid her hair and had a pretty home . When she stopped singing if she had plenty of millions left to live well on. She a sang a couple of her own songs and her CD was beautiful .. Her gain our loss when she decided to stop singing.

Susan Boyle showed them!. As soon as Susan walked onstage the audience were making faces of discontent, rolling their eyes and generally not thinking Susan was going to be any good, they had already judged her as a loser. The judges were looking at her as though she was going to bore them to tears. But when Susan so professionally and so confidentially took the microphone and opened her mouth to sing. It was as if everyone in the audience and the judges wanted the ground to open and swallow them up. They all sat there dumbfounded!. What a voice!. Susan sang like a songbird, she sang professionally and stood there centre stage where she truly belonged. Her voice just mesmerised me. The hairs on my arms were standing up and I had shivers running down my spine. Susan sang with so much feeling, expression and with most of all passion. Never judge a book by its cover, because it’s not what’s on the outside of a person. It’s whats on the inside. Susan proved that it comes from the heart. And Susan was absolutely PHENOMENAL!. Well done Susan. And you DID go on to be a massive STAR. 🌟 Well done, sweetheart. An outstanding performance. It’s one I’ll never forget. God bless you darling. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟😘😘😘
