As a fan of Reiko, Im cool with the projectile nerfs. I get where they are coming from with this change. But for love of GOD i just wish they would touch on the gravity scaling(even just a smidge) thats caused by his Laser Kick strings. I feel like they trigger the scaling way too aggressively way too soon. Especially his 3,4,3 string. I get that he's a grappler, but man oh man are his combo routes so limited/boring imo. Just wish he had a bit more "sauce" when comes to his combo routes.

Not really. Not from my testing with it, anyway. Maybe I need to test it more. But the problem is that the command grab doesn't hit the opponent after you do the safe jump, so it doesn't break the armor. So you just set yourself up to be -54 in front of your opponent.

kitana is probably still mid , she got power crept out of the meta pretty much . she needs some some mixup tools for opening up like the whole cast . people that are saying she was fine , haven't even touched her once.

The Havik nerf doesn't make sense. Cool, guess if I have 3 bars and low, it'll only be used for armor break unblockable into FB...

It makes a lot of sense considering how messed up the move is. Now it's there as a comeback mechanic for him instead of all the time.

With the stars gone, no reliable way to combo from overhead or lows, no way to combo off grab without a kameo, no reduction in scaling off his parry, reiko is forced to basically play off shimmies and whiff punishes... it's a disaster especially now that he is forced to be upclose.

He's been reworked, basically. He's got better combo damage and the daggers are used more for pressure and checking the opponent rather than zoning. He also got a new mix up on jump in given he has an air command grab.

Better damage? Most base combos do the same or even less than regular Im not gonna lie zoning reikos were a problems but his stars being straight out destroyed by normal fireballs is insane they should of at least clashed by normal fireballs and destroyed by EX fireballs

Reiko is trash now Air grab is terrible and EX knee doesnt really do anything for him
