I've been watching this once every day for the past 6 months. I have this as my alarm. I want this burned into my soul. (5/30/2024) Life does get better. It's funny cause its been four years since I posted this comment and its been four years since I started my relation with Christ. Graduated with my bachelors, moved to a different country & found the perfect job for me. I look forward to getting accepting into my masters program in a few years. God bless, never give up.

There are so many concepts in motivational speeches. But i've never heard aobut this one. The fact that many times we feel stuck because of our daily acts. Few days ago I suffered that feeling of "I'm stuck but I don't know why". I am so dedicated to my work, it's a 99% part of my life because I feel real passion... and this weekend was very different, I work with different people with differents points of view (my work is about transfrom that point of view in reality by filmmaking or photography...) The fact is TODAY... hours ago, I woke up and I thought "Oh, 3 days of work, I just sleeped only 3 hours friday night, and 2 hours saturday night... But I feeling so much good, so much free... compared the last 2 weeks... why?" and because of your video... now I know why: Because I challenge myself and I just live my work... Not overthink, no doubt, no few minutes in bed before shower... Just wake up and LIVE. Thank you Chispa. I discover your channel 3 years ago, but nowadays you're still being such a spark to make things move. (Sorry if I had writting mistakes!!)
@cmonterrosso6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! but yep, I sleep well. I practise a technique about sleeping well when you don't have a routine because of your work (I don't know how to say it in English but in Spanish is "Sueño Polifasico" / polyphasic dream ?? ) . It's about sleep 5 / 6 hours but taking 20 minutes naps 2 or 3 times during the day. For example, If I have to work one day editting in the morning 5 / 6 hours in front of my PC, I woke up at 8.00 and I do my work, after lunch I sleep 20/30 minutes. Then, in afternoon, If I have to filming something that takes me another 5 / 6 hours, I sleep another 20 / 30 minutes after that (Only if I have to work more that day). If I have to take photos at night (I work in a Disco) that takes me another 5 or 6 hours, when I come home (If I don't have to work more next day or next hours) I sleep 5 or 6 hours. Is impossible to me to have a routine (Except my Sleep routine, wich I try to do really well). But thank you for the advice!! I think the same too! Sleep is very very very important.

I loved your point of view: LIVE it. I am a student in a final year of college, and I was finding always a way to improve myself. I also am committed to the thing that I do, and all this time my idea was to find and correct my weaknesses. And basically, it was a process of grinding... The different thing that I want to do now is to LIVE by grinding, instead of focusing just on a "process". I want to thank you for sharing your experience and your point of view. Keep living your dream and push yourself. I believe that this is at least one of the most interesting things that we can do in our life.

You don't remember the days when you did everything like always, you remember the days you did something different. It makes you feel alive. Of corse there are things you should do on a daily basis in order to achieve something worthwile. At some point all the things you did everyday will add up to a huge result. Like waking up early, reading a book or working out. If you go once to they gym, your body won't change, but if you go every day for a few years, your body will make a huge change. The things he meant in the videos are the points you mentioned. Changing the perspective. Doing the things you do on a daily basis different...

stuff like this man... I have a little extra time right now to write this but anyways, my elementary and middle school was really bad just because of the fact I hit puberty very early and last summer I was introduced to bodybuilding movements by my dad I was 13 at the time and just did basic movements for back and chest and arms that's it. I did not know anything about pushing my self I just wanted to be strong, and then after about 2 months I started really wanted to be strong, I started researching proper form and what exorcises to build the highest numbers in the main 3 deadlift,bench,squat, I was obsessed with spending hours a day getting more and more into the fitness industry learning about the history, different types of lifting strongman,olympic,bodybuilding,powerlifting ETC, I dropped out of public school for online school to spend more time training and I started going to an Olympic weightlifting crossfit gym and trained that for a month dident really click with me, I stopped going there and started really grinding every day the 630 1 mile runs every morning the eating the right way and enough, doing powerlifting has really honesty taught me so much so far in general life and its teaching me discipline and to get something you must have an insane work ethic and put in hard fucking work. about 4 months ago is when I started actually learning how to squat I always had trouble with squat form until I found larry wheels and looking at his taught me to squat it just looked so right, also around the same time I started deadlifting and really pushing my self in those two along with the bench, then the maxing out thought went into my mind because I know now to have a good program you need to base your reps and sets off of percentages of your max so I wanted to test everything, I dident have experience with overloading myself with weight, the first time I maxed out I benched 120 squatted 135 and deadlifted 185. 2 months later with eating a lot more but still healthy and way better movements that actually befit the 3 main, I maxed out again and weighed the same which is still to this day 145 I lost fat and gained a lot of muscle because I benched 175 squatted 250 and deadlifted 315, and just last Monday I deadlifted 385 which I started looking at records and that alone has never been done before at my age I had never been happier, I never used wraps or a belt and I just ordered a certified powerlifting belt and its getting here next week, I signed up for a comp in june and I plan to pull 400 or more then hoping for 405, I lost a lot of friends and relationships but what I did gain is self respect, I knew those people that dident understand what and why I was doing this had a problem with my life because they dident have a life. I never let any ones thoughts about me go to waste and if its positive energy towards me then cool its motivating but whats even more motivation is the negative It gives me more of a reason to push harder and shove it in their fucking face later in life, I honest to god think I have a very good chance at the title of the greatest powerlifter of all time, im doing everything I can talking the right supplements and doing ice baths, ETC. all of these motivational videos any time my friends or family see me watching them they laugh likes a fucking joke but I know deep down this dream was given to me for the reason of accomplishing them, There's you know the Friday nights when everyone is out partying on Friday nights and im in my garage listening to motivational videos staring at my squat rack, a promise I made to my self is to be so good that everyone will read about me in the papers and see a quote I made last week that is going to stick with me throughout my whole powerlifting carrier "I was born with genetics, the genetics for an unbelievable work ethic not the strength I've achieved with it." im not asking anyone to reply to this cheering me on I just wanted to spend 5 minutes writing this out because I got some free time, thank you all for reading this if you do. have a good day!

He right one day I was laying in bed playing the blame game. I was 22 at the time I was so angry hurt and mad at everything except myself. And I was blaming others. The Universe said to me how you going to blame others when you knew better no one made you do any of that stuff. You did it because you wanted to do it. I'll never forget that Saturday afternoon. That was at the start of April of 2010. By the Middle of May Of that same year I start getting my sh*t together. Little over 10 years later I'm on the break threw of becoming a fully realized New God. Change your mind and you will change your world. God's aren't born their made.

If you think material things are ALL that is, or that they'll validate who/what you are. Good luck. That'll only last a while. Just do. Do the things that will get you what you want. It's that simple in theory but the practicality of it is what will stop you if you're lazy, if you talk yourself out of it, if you put it off or even if you aspire to get the "motivation"...btw, motivation is bullshit. Motivation is fleeting, it's a whisper in your mind. It's on a clock. DISCIPLINE & the will to do the same god damn fucking thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again... that'll get you closer to what you want. Want a nice car? Want an education? You need money. How would you get it? Got a job? No, get one, get two. Save, use your money well, move up in the ranks of your job. Want more than that? Get a degree, know someone who's as hungry as you, look for people who want to better themselves the right way. No shortcuts, no schemes. If you half ass it, it'll always come back to bite you in the ass. Expect failure. It will come. You're not only going against what you've been used to for a long time, you're going against the permeating shit passed down on to youby those who raise you. Perhaps, lady luck will smile on you once. You may not know when that happens. Do, just do what must be done. Everyone wants the cool shiny shit but VERY few are willing to do the maintenance. At the very least, even if you don't get to where you'd like to go to, your name won't be talked to about as one of those weak and cold souls who never tried.
