Learn to listen and be the last to speak 5. Be grateful for, but know that the good things you receive is not for you, it’s for the position you hold 6. [Bonus] Learn that success takes patience

Your friend had the right idea. You were measuring the bagel only by price, while your friend was measuring the bagel by the price AND the time. Time is very valuable.
@Tran8093 жыл бұрын
Problem is that time is limited. For example, a lot of people think I need more, therefore I have to work more hours. Instead you should be thinking, I need to increase my value, not the hours. In a day you only have 24h, on the other hand the value of the money you are making is essentially limitless. Although you aren’t wrong in that specific situation, evaluating time and price is the right way to go. Wouldn’t be waiting 5 hours for a free bagel. XD
@xavierjarquin-gallard31053 жыл бұрын
Correct. ... And maybe he also did NOT want the bagel.
@Honorou3 жыл бұрын
I think that the idea was that, in our lives, we will always need to spend at least one type of resource to get what we want, to achieve our goals. As time was the only resource they could have used in that situation, Simon is willing to use an amount of his resource, while his friend would rather save it and not invest the resource to get something. One wants to invest in what he desires, while the other one saves because his desire is not as big as Simon's for that bagel. Indeed, it was subjective and time is indeed the most valuable resource we have, you're right, but the question that Simon tried to highlight, in my opinion, is "Are you hungry for something so you only focus on the opportunity?". ^_^

Mistakes are very normal in life so when you make a drastic mistake, the best thing to do is learn from it and quickly move on because living in the past would only destroy your future. In 2018 i lost nearly everything, i was at the verge of taking my own life but thanks to a few friends who stood by me, i was able to get over my suicidal thoughts. Fast forward to this very moment and I’m proud to say that I’m a millionaire but i promise you, my journey wasn't easy but in the end i came out on top. I tried all sorts of businesses, i even sold drugs at some point but nothing seemed to be working for me. And on one faithful Sunday morning in a Life development class in church, i finally got lucky. I was introduced to a man who God used to turn my life around, talking about Mr Louis Berry. Louis is a portfolio manager who works for Crestline Capital, a US based fund managment firm.
@simplycorker18693 жыл бұрын
He offered to help me invest in the financial market and knowing how good a trader he is,I quickly took a 10K loan from a friend of mine and I investd everything with Louis. To my surprise, in less than 2 weeks I got paid my first profit of $6,291. I kept on reinvestin my profit for another 1 year and made a total of $404,850 and with that I was ready to get my life and businesses back on track.
