The Memphis Zoo's Nile hippopotamus Binti gave birth to a healthy, 76-pound baby female on March 23, 2017. The public voted to name her Winnie. This popular little baby hippo has captured Americas heart! She is growing fast. Winnie is so cute. Mama is just beautiful and big. Winnie's birth was overshadowed by Cincinnati's Fiona two months earlier but is still just as cute. At least these two will live a safe and sheltered life without the dangers of poachers and other elements of the wild.
