It is a hard book cover journal with two sewn in signatures. There are sewn pockets and tags all from the book. The book measures 7 1/2" X 5".

Just found this while watching some of your other videos. My daughter, although grown up and expecting her own little girl in a few months, is besotted with Winnie the Pooh still !! We have a collection of framed sketches that will be going in the nursery, I have scanned all of them and will be making a journal for my grand daughter which will be my first ever journal. I had the idea of printing some of the sketches onto fabric for the journal, hope it works 😉. Yours is beautiful, you have already inspired some ideas I am hoping to use. This is a very cute book Tracie, I love the images and the collage on the front. I've got this book too, but I haven't done anything with it, because I'm reading some of the stories, as I didn't read them as a child TFS :)

+Tracie Fox You've done a really good job with this. I'm doing an altered book journal now & it's a very, very old binding. I always like to see the original bindings respected & You've done it beautifully. I love the frayed fibers & the sewing. It's a shame You couldn't keep the whole of the maps in, inside the cover but I suppose it would have got in the way of sewing the signatures in

Thank you. If you want to keep the spine you have to attach the signatures somewhere! Unfortunately, the map had to suffer but I am pleased that the cover stayed intact ;-) It was good to hear from you and best of luck with your book x

+Tracie Fox yes, I had to do the same with this one, it had a few blanks attached, really old yellow pages but I'll re integrate them. I love the envelope you did too, with the 2 pooh bears :) Think it was you that also did an Alice journal. The La Nouvelle Mode journal you did, well I just bought 4 La Mode magazines from the 50's, are you in junk journal junkies? Just thinking if you'd joined the mini swap on home made tags? If you want to team up on a (tags & mini envelopes) swap, let Me know or let Svetlana know. I'd love to do a swap :)
