If you play basic 21 strategy, at 8:03 you should have split the pair of 4s against a 5 or the dealt 6. You then would have doubled down on the second four (and a six) with the third card (10) giving you 20. The dealer would have the five, six, and draw four and seven to bust. You would have earned an extra $225. Not sure if they allow doubling down after a split though.

This is partially wrong. Yes, he would have doubled the 10 on the second split 4 and gotten 20. But the dealer would have gotten 18 because the 7 is the next card dealt that would have been the dealer's, not the 4. So JV would have won the double and lost the other hand which would have been 14. So he would have won $75, not $225.

At 8:03 you missed a split: 4s against dealer 6. I think you got distracted talking about the new football stadium. At least you won the hand. If you had split you would have ended up with 14 and 20 and the dealer would have made 18 so you would have pushed for the split. Guess it worked out in your favor.

That’s the sucky part it’s all random (unless you count cards) best case scenario pay attention to the cards if you see a bunch of little cards know it’s gonna be big coming next few hands or if you win one hand add one more chip for the hell of it I’m tired of people saying oh well scared money doesn’t make money and to that I say dumbass money doesn’t make money either lol

@@greendragonsden1239 counting cards is the only way to know when to increase your bet in blackjack. If you’re trying to learn blackjack just try to learn how to count…..it’ll save you money lol. Anyone can do it you just have to want it
