First game nice win. Game two I use the same mind games in the Charlick, it often works.Another nice win. I am very glad to see you playing your style, even more glad to see you winning with it. Thanks Ben. Keep up the good work.

Thanks pal. I think I'm realising that I'm happy being the best version of me than trying to be a better version of someone else. And it's not like positional awareness and advanced calculation have no play in sharp gambit games!

@@ChessBootCamp I am personally very glad, I had felt a little responsible for maybe sending you a little the wrong way. When I talked about playing positionally, my point was the knowledge gained by playing this way sometimes, would make you a better tactical player.

@@joseraulcapablanca8564 Yeah I'm constantly reminding everyone that this is game that should be fun, so I should lead by example eh?

I don’t think anyone wants you to give up your own style of chess. Me personally I would love to see you mix in solid openings like the Spanish or the caro or something like that. Because you’re so good tactically but you use it to defend positions that you’ve created double/isolated pawns or got your king trapped in the center of the board from an F pawn push. Tactics and attacking chess doesn’t go away when you play a solid opening. You’ve just denied your opponent obviously counter play and easy targets.

Yes, I'm enjoying IM Rosen's latest speedrun, where he prises great attacking opportunities from even minor indiscretions by his opponents in openings like the Italian.

Also when I read that back it sounds like I’m being condescending but i have nothing but love for the channel and mean no offense.

@2:10 when u mention the c5 line it’s not actually at this moment. First u would need to play Nxc3, bxc3 and then c5. Reason being it looks like they can play d4 in attempt to un double the pawns and control the center but it’s actually a mistake. Only reason I’m commenting is because you’ve mentioned c5 in different videos every time at the wrong moment I just want to make sure u know b4 playing
@ChessBootCamp

Yeah I have mentioned that. I need to look into it, might be worth a video. Thanks for the pointer.
