Living in North Florida and i really wish we had a catch gym here. We have jiu jistu gyms and i wrestle at my highschool but catch wrestling looks so fun 😈

It’s definitely the most fun style in my opinion. Maybe you could start it up in your area, find a gym and get a group of guys and start training under pin or submit rules .

Try to find any school that teaches something CLOSE to catch wrestling including Luta Livre or catch wrestling alliance online school. Look at Laetitia Blot when she went into MMA she first started going to bjj/ MMA gym then later also went to Nicolas Renier school which teaches both Luta Livre and bjj.

And Laetitia Blot have competed in judo, freestyle wrestling, Sambo, and beach wrestling. But for MMA she trained in bjj and Luta Livre.

I would love to cross train some catch to better my jujitsu. The closest thing I can find is judo but I’m learning a little of Greco.

Definitely not the easiest thing to find instruction for, but get some training partners to roll live with pins involved and it will give you some new perspective and things to work on for sure, changes the dynamic entirely .
