Well done errichto. All of this helps me to have an idea of what kind of thoughts flow in the mind of any competitive programmer during the contest. Its a motivation for me that reaching that level is not impossible. And that is all i need. Thank you so much for creating one of the best KZbin channel for competitive programming. 😍😍

Google contest has some FAQ, you can read there. Basically, your solution should handle input data of some size withing the time and memory limit. You can start by visiting a platform like Leetcode or SPOJ, sorting problems by difficulty and doing easy ones. (sorry for a late reply, your comment was hidden by youtube algorithm as potential spam...)

exactly, start from Python and better use some websites on the inet rather than ebooks cos on websites are way better and contain more complex examples in comparison to those super easy in ebooks. Start from W3 Schools for Python and later go to e.g. HackerRank and solve easy and intermediate problems. Download VSCode, PyCharm and maybe Anaconda with Jupyter Notebook.

@@Errichto Yeah you're right, but if 3rd had a bit smaller constraint, it'd be ok to run dfs from each vertex (without knowing this trick with double-dfs you showed). And 4th I wrongly thought it's an O(n^2) bruteforce while it's O(n!)
