But he isn't stupid to talk like he's the best in the world he just knows that he is really good and one of the best but there are people that are better than him so for me 0 humble just realistic person

ZanK ✅ I don’t think you get the point. Obviously he’s not gonna be competing every month for 25 years. He has won a competition already and I bet Google, Apple, Amazon and the likes are *begging* him with over $200k yearly salary to work for them. Nobody wants to watch competitive programming. It’s not as fun as fortnite. And the purpose of the competition, as he mentioned, is recruitment.

On the other hand, Principal Engineer/Technical Lead/Senior Manager at top companies in the Bay Area are able to earn over $500k/year. That's before accounting for some incredible benefits and perks. Given that there are thousands of positions at that level or higher, I'd much rather make a career out of that rather than hope I become a fortnite champion lmao.

Their dedication has a great impact on our society. We sometimes can not utilize their knowledge by just giving a job in great companies. For competitive programmers, every company should create a separate role and team. It's my personal opinion.

Errichto now has 266k subscribers as of writing this comment. I’m so happy for him as he seems like a good guy and was pretty accepting of the likely chance that his channel wouldn’t amount to so much. Cool shii.

Great interview! It's nice when interviewer keeps enough time for the answer and actually does follow-up questions. Way too often every question is pre-written and there's zero real interaction, especially for more complex subjects like competitive programming.

Definitely not. You must analyse speech patterns more to hear the difference. I can hear two distinct accents between Polish (or European in any case) and Middle Eastern. Different people, entirely different method of pronunciation.
