Definitely play 3 BF. Even if your plan is not to activate it turn 1, it is still a really strong board breaker going 2nd after you have baited your opponent's interruptions.

My idea of it was that branded opening can be an extender after synchro summoning. And work as a worse starter where I HAVE to branded fusion But yea maybe I’ll try with 3 fusion too.

@@OfficialXeyo Fair enough but you’ll never be mad seeing a branded fusion going second or when you’re opponent interacts with you too early going first. The card does so much by itself and rather than wasting deck space to search it you can just max it out. While it’s legal at 3 I’d 100% play it at 3. Card is too good and you just have it there in your back pocket when you need it. If you’ve also managed to synchro then you’ve already had combo and used a few cards from your hand so how much value do you get from opening afterwards? You’ve already seen quem and Cartesia and there isn’t really anything you want to discard when you need cards spare for Albaz interruptions as well as hand traps for next turn. If you’re using it in that way you’re probably better off running nadir, putting a fusion in grave and grabbing follow up instead… the more fusion locking cards you play the worse your hands will get and BF just does so much more with less resources.
