If you find a lot of plush in a stack you can use the claw to knock them down and potentially put them in the chute!

Yeah I've done that a couple times before, claw machines packed like that are really hard to find though.

Sometimes I don't try to pick them up. I go over the shoot if there on the edge

That is a good strategy if the owner stacks them up higher than glass is for the shoot, also a good stately for rigged claw machines as well
