Hey Joe, would you mind asking the vendor if you could do another test? You showed previously why shaking doesn't work, but I'm wondering what would happen if you vibrated the whole machine with a sander (without the sandpaper, obviously) or something. :D

So it all depends on how the tilt sensor (the bobber) would react to it, and how sensitive it is set for. You would really have to know the machine’s settings to get an idea if any amount of tapping or shaking would be able to “get away” with it or not. In the case of ace’s downtown, they have them set so sensitive now, that any bump will set it off. Others, even people kicking it never set it off. You just never know what will be enough to cause the alarm to go off.
