Hey Adam, as someone who has been apart of rallying since I was born. I really helpful tip for reccy runs is to have a similar sized car basically a non turbo Impreza would be perfect. As it really can give you a better understanding where to situate your car. Driving a big truck which huge wheels won’t give you much feel for the track

That boost leak is such a common problem our team also struggled with that. It kept happening so we used beefier hose clamps, the ones that has a bolt you tighten. Never been a problem after that. Held a full season and got us 1st place in class 13 in the Norwegian Championship.
