Ummmm.. Am I missing something? Wouldn't these Engines be better off on "Real" Drag strip racing? They're possibly loosing 50% of Torque & Speed through dirt racing what's the point? Looks cool I guess.....

Well I can see how someone who grew up in or near a city might think this, not saying you did. I grew up in the country next to my local “Mud Drags” and every other Saturday they would run and it was the best and only thing to do around there. Most of these people love to race but don’t live anywhere near a drag strip so they build these to race in the mud. The tracks costs a fraction to build over a 1/4 drag strip, but it’s a passion since these trucks probably cost between $20-150 to run once while the winner might get $1000.
