WINNING the CLAW MACHINE on my birthday! (Plus tips on how to win)

On my birthday this year, at the arcade in Coney Island, I won the claw machine crane game! It was our last bit of money on the card and I used it to win this machine on my first try. I have won at these types of machines 3 times in a row recently and here are my tips:
Don't try for anything too heavy
Don't try for anything too stuck in and hard to pull out
Look for something with an easy shape to grasp (like this cute monkey plush I won)
Try and look at where the crane is from all angles you're able to. This machine was especially hard because there was another one right next to it and I couldn't see it from either side; just the front.
Sometimes you just have to be lucky!
