Just a suggestion but before firing on Merchant ships you might want to check the flags on those merchant ships. Firing on Merchant ships flying your own flag is kinda frowned upon.

I've been following your Sea Power videos as soon as they release and I must say you make the gameplay very interesting by explaining what and why you're doing it. Appreciate the videos and i'm glad I found your channel! Keep it up! Edit - I commented as I was watching and noticed your flights with jets. If you get them to climb to higher altitudes while travelling to/from the AO they'll use less fuel overall letting them loiter in the area/reach a target for longer (At least IRL this is what would happen, not sure if the game models that?).

When it comes to conserve fuel for your aircraft you need to have them flying higher. The jets at least 30.000+ feet and the turbo jets 15-25.000 feet’s. Thinner air less resistance. When you get close to engaging or close to AA cover dive to lower altitude. Same when you return climb when you are out of range of AA

It's very interesting to watch the comparison between someone who made a scenario play it vs someone who hasn't. I think it's safe to say that some oversights have potentially been made in the creation of this scenario. Also, if you wanted to have more of your aircraft reach the area, could've fitted them with the Long-Range loadouts with the drop tanks. And as for why a Sampan, I assume Stealth keep it in there as an easter egg because he himself didn't expect that. For a proper merchant target, probably something that isn't a super-merchant, maybe like a C4 cargo ship.

You said so yourself, there was a nice semi military warship not far from the target, it would have been excellent, but I suppose a small fishing boat of secret equipment would be amusing because it would be super hard to detect regardless.

What i felt was missing were reactions from the AI, be it the merchants getting shot and nobody trying to evade or make a run for it. Also, although thats probably out of scope for this game, communicating with the merchants, telling them to go away or prepare for boarding etc. I assume it would be possible to do something like that through scripting or clever use of the triggers.

I believe if you set those SU-24s to fly at 51,000 feet or at least 36,800 feet (or whatever the heights are I forgot) their range will greatly increase. So I think you could have made it to Georgia if flying cruise and high altitude. So no range issue, but yeah, Stealth overestimated the Air Assets' Fuel Range when creating the scenario, he himself was surprised that he barely could reach operation area. Also, you were supposed to kill the merchant and then NATO turns hostile, but looks like Stealth did not implement a fired-upon trigger for them becoming hostile. "Oh, that one was soviet? Well doesn't matter, sorry comrade, you were going for the wrong port, I got a blockade to enforce here."

I see you have found out that the airfields are still very much a work in progress in terms of their taxi and take off animations, but to be fair, it's not a Russian jet unless it is capable of taking off from a field.

I'd bet that military looking cargo ship is still the main target and the ship you actually need to sink. Feel like the Sampan is just there is a debug type thing so that there is actually BLUFOR present in the scenario at the start. Probably not something meant to be found, and is harmless to let it start as BLUFOR.

Nope, this was in stealths video, it is the intended target, he just didn't realise he'd put it in as a Sampan, and it made him laugh to much to change it.

As someone who looked into this for other reasons, you can’t really say until the game actually comes out due to the way global pricing works. The devs probably do have a price in mind but, especially with early access, you can’t say what that is before it goes live on steam.

And this is why you weren't supposed to have Tu-22s or similar bombers in the first place. I only wanted the player to have some fighter cover. But, until we have ability to adjust airfields this will happen and you can make the scenario very easily. Also, firing on neutral warships...? Dude...

Oh....yes....I am a Group Captain and tactics and strategy is my thing. If I did in the real world you way of playing people will die....a lot of people woukd die.
