I purchased the Elite Core controller a couple of months ago, and I'm not kidding when I say that the controller sticks have more tension than any other controller I've owned, including my Xbox 360 controller. The sticks were really hard to move, even when I adjusted them to the lowest settings. They are not much like the Elite 2 in that regard.

you might've got a defective controller. i think that's the 3rd core controller i've got and they all feel slightly different. the amount of technology in these controllers either makes or breaks them unfortunately
