As a former band kid i am SCREAMING about the brass instrument question 😂 if it comes up in trivia again, a woodwind is classified by if it was either initially made of wood like a flute, or it is played with a reed. Woodwinds also have many keys on them to play the different notes. Brass instruments are usually played with more technique in that it only has a few keys called valves and the different notes come more from the speed of the air put into the instrument from the player. Hopefully this helps you win the next woodwind vs brass questions!
