Tom is a legend, he deserves this title but Luke is the ultimate role model in my eyes. He is a real sportsman, kind considerate and super supportive of his younger brother. He should also be proud of his achievements, it might not be the position he or we had wished for him but he is the reason a lot of us love this sport, Koa is so lucky to have such a fantastic daddy.

You need truly great support AND a truly great opponent to push you to greatness. The reason why the Stoltmans and Mitch are so popular isn't just physical achievement. My youngest child is Autistic. As a Father, seeing how successful and very special man Tom Stoltman is gives me high hopes for my baby boy in his path to life. Luke, you are a great big brother and I love how the two of you push each other for greatness. As someone who's autistic himself, and only found about at 24 just like my gf, we both see how obvious the hidden autism is in our parents, and it's always genetic, if not at least from parents, it's from grandparents, autism is more easily hidden than most people think

Congrats! I honestly was rooting for Mitch just because I'm more familiar with him. Then i heard Eddie's covergae of WSM and he mentioned Tom is on the spectrum. I'm so inspired! I have so much trouble getting my teenage daughter, who is autistic, to get motivated about fitness. I told her about you yday and your win and it got her to put her helmet on and go for a ride on her trike! You're definitely a household name here now! Great job on #3 🎉

I root for mitch and always will because the effort he put into social media and educating me on how to be a better lifts. The time he takes with the fans. @@Samuel-er6td noone forced Mitch to attempt to finish the frame 5+ times. If he stopped after attempt 2 or 3, his hands would be better. His grip just wasn't there, and with each attempt his hands took more and more damage. Thats like someone attempting 5 times to deadlift certain weight, failing each time, and then having back issues. A strongman should know when to pull back and prevent injury. All respect to Mitch for great performance, I can't imagine doing anything with hands like that.

@@dominikklaban9795 Yeah the reality is, if mitch's hands didn't rip, there's a very strong chance he'd have won overall, but A. that's not guaranteed, and B. he said himself that that is simply part of it, his hands ripped for a reason, whether he grabbed it wrong or his grip gave out or whatever, but it's ultimately something he did wrong, and therefore tom clearly deserved to win. Next year I doubt mitch will make the same mistake, so it'll likely be incredibly close.

I've only herd of one other Scotsman with the same tenacity and drive to achieve a goal, that man's name was William Wallace. Congratulation's Tom, the new king of Scotland. You and Mitch have made strongman exciting again. I look forward to watching the back and forth battles between you both. (like Big Z and Brian) Both so equally matched the only thing that will be a factor his who shows up in shape and who makes fewer mistakes on the day. Congratulations Tom! That was an incredibly complete performance. There's never an undeserving winner in this sport, I don't think any sport has better sportsmanship and sets a better example in the way everyone acts and this result (and this video) really shows how Tom, and Luke set that example perfectly.

Been such a huge fan of the Stoltman Brothers for years now and something just brings me to tears no matter the level of competition they are competing in, seeing the support they give each other is amazing, truly an amazing story and nothing but love & respect for these guys. Both are terrific athletes and people, "let's make it 6" made me chuckle, but we all know it is going to happen, and I am here for it. Proud to even be from the same town as them.

Such amazing editing and taking us all on the Stoltman jouney 💪 Tom winning is awesome, but comes with support from big brother Luke ♥ Luke having little one as-well coming along for the ride made the whole Stoltman jounry amazing 🙌 I agree Mr Hooper was such a lovely gent in the clip when he spoke to Tom before the stones.
