At 7:00 it looks like the producer has a single bore shotgun to Jamie’s head … I thought he liked doing these videos 🤣 great video I need to adapt this for rod and line though. 👍

I’ve been fishing recently with micro pellets and different dyes and flavourings in general. I’ve had a lot of bites and caught some decent fish but I would like your opinion on whether you think this actually attracts and catches more fish? Would it be a good suggestion if you could do a video on one of you fishing with dyes and flavourings and the other fishing normal pellets etc… but the same method of fishing to see the outcome? Just an idea. Thankyou

Just opening to winter fishing
@adammaciejewski16012 жыл бұрын
Questions to you Andy what you would do on river when running that clear on winter. Are you will think to use just maggots or you use bread punch where you know there is not much small chubs about.

Brilliant vid as always, uffff I would love to see you on the bank at Birch House, I missed you😞, I hope one day I will be able to meet you and have a photo with you 🙏

Great vid. Can I ask how you target skimmers in a natural environment with what bait and loose feed please?
@WinningWays8 ай бұрын
Probably go down the more natural route of groundbait, maggots, chopped worm etc.

How do you avoid the carp, or were they edited out??
@markoxley76349 ай бұрын
Do you have a video on catching skimmers on pellets, but not on a commercial lake, just a normal natural lake
@stephensmall41723 жыл бұрын
Really enjoying and learning a lot from your(and Andy's) videos. As I'm new to poles and pellets I wondered if the hook bait was put directly on the hook or in a band. Also what hook length did you use? Thanks.
@trudyandy3 жыл бұрын
Great video and demostration but one question wouid you stick to one size of expander or would you go up or down a size if required and when?
@WinningWays3 жыл бұрын
4mm to match the pellets you're feeding.

Can you get Jamie to expand on his hook bait expanders and the gelatine idea please? How much do you use and do you still soak them first?
@WinningWays3 жыл бұрын
They were the ready done ones from Spotted Fin 👍🏻

Jamie did not mention his main one and hook-link size he uses for his skimmer fishing, hook size also? Brilliant video, maybe the best to date as its right up to date with the present style of pole fishing, well done guys.
@jambonwain89183 жыл бұрын
He said its a Matrix mxc-1 size 16 You're right about line diameter tho 🤷♂️
@WinningWays3 жыл бұрын
Just whatever you normally use for silvers, when it’s as good as that no need to go mega light. 0.10-0.12 hooklength. 0.16 mainline.

This approach is specifically for commercial skimmer fishing where they are used to seeing a lot of pellets
