Winnipeg is Seeing Rising Crime

Last year in Winnipeg, violent crime reached its highest level since 2009.
There were 53 murders, a new record.
Knife crimes increased 11.7%.
1-in-5 violent crimes were committed by an offender violating their bail, probation, or other court order.
Conservatives will bring home safety to Winnipeg's streets, and to communities all over Canada.

I live in Winnipeg, not a rough area by a long shot, but my Garage has been broken into 3 times. Luckily the last 2 times, nothing was stolen. But the 1st time, I lost more than 2000.00 worth of items. 2 mountain bikes, 2 miter saws, 1 band saw, and 2 FX lightsabers. The police would not bat an eye lash on the theft. In fact, theft is becoming more and more rampant. Just today, I saw 8 people with stolen bicycles. I can tell they were stolen. Because they were painted over in a uniform color other than white. Completely white bikes mean they are owned by the city, and free to borrow form a local city office. Even witnessed 1 male delinquent throw a bike off to the side that he was riding. Without a care in the world, just to board a bus and get a free ride. Saw another male board a bus with a tool bag. Checked a cordless drill and smiled realizing it worked. If it was his, we wouldn't have bothered to check the drill. The list can go on.

My car was stolen in Winnipeg, the police didn’t even come and take a statement. I told them over the phone, the lady opposite had a doorbell camera that may have captured them driving by, they didn’t come to take a look. They retrieved it after three months, MPI said I couldn’t have it back, so they stole my car a second time. Welcome to Winnipeg.

Raquel we at Campbell River BC were just introduced to far left policies of Judge and enforcement of accountibility on behalf of the victims. A security guard at Walmart was stopping a booster from stealing TV's, and was repeatedly stabbed by the thief. The Judge did not hold the booster accountable for even a assault with a weapon. The thief/assaulter with deadly weapon skated without any charges.....its just mind boggling.
