Hi, I'm falling at the first hurdle and I wonder if you can help me? You open a map you've already loaded before. I haven't, and have to go to new and select mine.Fine with that but then I'm asked what file type it is. I think its a .bin as its a Rover 75 with a Bosch ECU. I'm then asked something about importing with some variables greyed out so can't change anyway. Then I press go and its says no maps found but it displays lots of figures. What am I missing please? EDIT: If this was a video showing you how to make a cup of tea then it would be equivalent to starting with the kettle full already from the last cup of tea that you made.I don't know how to fill the kettle :-)

I beleve you got thia wrong, The horisontal axis that goes from 0 to 51 is not fuel amount, its probobly the MAF signal. And its probobly not mg/stroke its more likely volts, 0-5.5volts is a typical signal for sensors. The ecu unit doesnt know mg/stroke, its just knows volts.

No I am correct. VAG ECU files contain sensor and actuator conversion maps for raw values. The main maps use IQ, etc

vagecumap is correct, but in fact there are map inside ecu that convert Voltage value to value of air. but that map really not need ever to change

I have a problem. My bmw 2.5tds bin file is in 8bit, and i cant do that high and low. so i cant tell what map is what

Thank you for all the video's! I do have one question: How do I figure out which value's my ecu uses? Experience is one, I don't have any otherwise I wouldn't be watching this :) I'm trying to follow the video's and next to it trying it on my AR 156 1.9 JTD with an EDC15C7. Is it RPM, IQ, voltages or what not. Thanks again!

Only a damos for your file with give you certain answer. Otherwise ask on a chip tuning forum.

i have downloaded my car ecu file (.bin format) and opened with winols but it wont show potential maps and nothing like you are talking in 10.50 so i cant make double clic like you did in 11.18. can you tell me where is the problem??
