Great video. I rode this trail a week ago and I must say, your camera angles made it look much easier than it was. And I've never ridden such a tight trail when it comes to the vegetation later on. Wow! Keep the videos coming!

Nice Video. Cant wait to get back into Idaho Singletrack. I think I'm 13 61. My other Tractor was 13 70. Too low for anything except those trails and Moab. It was a trailer Queen.

Wow! That's tractor gearing for sure. Where did you get those big rear sprockets from?
@brettbenoit4544 жыл бұрын
@@LeisureTimeLarry Hey Larry it's Bodi. I get my big rear sprockets in aluminum from Sprocket Specialist s

Oh, hey Bodi! We hit some stuff where I would like to go up on the rear sprocket. One climb in Idaho last year in particular. I should probably get a sprocket and chain to at least be able to throw on if I think I need it. Good to hear from ya, and I hope we can ride together again soon.

So many trees, thought I was watching "Stargate" (the series), their running joke was, "Oh look, another planet with trees". Great trail.

Have you ever discussed gearing? Do you run stock? Do you change for different conditions (like Moab)? Glad to see new post, worried you might have quit. Ride on!

I think stock 14-50 is the best all around gearing for the dub. I primarily use mine as a trail bike, and I was running 13-54 here. I think I went to 13-55 for my latest Moab trip. No, I don't change back and forth. I'm a big boy, so I need the grunt to get me going off-road, and I'm fine winding her up above 50 mph on the country highways when necessary to get to/from the trails. If I am doing more road or need to go faster, I take a different bike.

Great video Larry. Do you lower air pressure in your tires for trails?
@LeisureTimeLarry4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Guy. Yes, I lower the tire pressures to 10-12 front and 8-10 rear for off-road riding.

Enjoying video. Bet you're tired after that ride, constant exercise, not many soft sections. Was out on KLX250 in the countryside, challenged for breaking Scottish lockdown. Told only allowed out for exercise, pointed out off road riding WAS exercise. Having an engine doesn't stop something being physical, a horse (has horse power) and horse riding has recognised health benefits, why not a dual sport?

I agree.

Funny you can't ride in "Rob Roy country" without a "Karen" getting in your face. Imagine telling a native American he couldn't go on his tribal land there would be an outcry. I'm a proud "Lowland Scot" and these are my tribal/clan lands. I can look out my window and see an imposing castle, that reminds me that you have to defend your rights or some busybody will take them away from you.

I missed that all because of a flat tire gee-dang-it. Was that a cabin at the end where ya'll parked or just a makeshift trail fence?
@LeisureTimeLarry4 жыл бұрын
That was just a makeshift trail fence. Stupid tire. We had fun riding with you the first day, and camping was awesome. I liked this area and these trails.
