Nuzlocke rules:
1 Only the first encounter can be caught
2 All mons that faint are boxed and can’t be used anymore
3 All mons must be named to promote a strong bond with them
4 An encounter can be rerolled if I already own that specific mon (Evolution stages don’t count)
5 You can use dead mons to use an HM
6 You Can only have 2 starter pokemon active at once
7 You are allowed to catch only 1 shiny per area, It must be on camera, and can’t be used until the original encounter of that area is dead.
8 If first encounter is a shiny then it counts as BOTH encounters
9 You can only resurrect one fossil, can only breed mons two times, and have one mon through the game corner. (This rule will be amended on a game by game basis)
10 Battles where victory is optional don’t count unless I declare beforehand
11 All Nuzlockes take place on parallel timelines, therefore mons of the same species and nickname are Soul-Linked to each other, if one version dies, they die in all other unfinished nuzlockes and that nickname can no longer be used.
12 A single Pokémon can be revived, this can be done once per playthrough, if the mon being revived is what caused a Soul-Link Death, then all other version s of the Pokémon are also revived. If the mon being revived was the victim of a rule 11 death, it can still be revived but the souls of all other versions will stay dead.
13 No in battle items, set mode, no having fun
