Pug I think that’s totally fair. You’re entitled to do so just as much as I think she’s entitled to talk about politics if she wants to. And honestly, I’m of the opinion that anything that has to do with people is political. The root of the word “political” comes from the Greek word, polis, which refers to a body of citizens. The other answer is that maybe Winona doesn’t see her statement as being political at all. Maybe she’s just responding as a highly empathetic person to something tragic that’s been on her mind. I don’t find it rude when people talk about something that’s clearly touched them deeply and they care about a lot. You have every right to find it rude if you want, no judgment here.
