Sir, You have explained it very nicely. I have my shed quite ventilation, litter bed is quite dry, daily consumption of feed is as per Chart but Still odor it noticed
@WInspire3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Rahul, odor could be from many things For example, moldy/bad feed, dead birds, high stocking density or many more If litter is dry, that means your management is towards right direction but there are many other things to be considered as well, Good luck.

Is this ammonia gas cause suddenly death of chicks.? Because chicks was very well at daytime but evening closed the door after I saw next day morning some chicks was died. No any health issues. So I doubted maybe ammonia was the reason of death.? What is your opinion about this issue
@WInspire3 жыл бұрын
From what you have mentioned, ammonia may not necessarily be the cause of sudden death, for ammonia to cause rapid fatality, the ppm level should be multiple times higher and if that happens, it may kill many birds in the same room. As you have mentioned only few chicken died, it very unlikely that ammonia is the cause here. Not sure about the stocking density, but to have ammonia, let's say higher than 1000+ ppm to cause fatality, I can't see how your chicken room gets that high ammonia all of sudden. Instead, some of your chickens could have had heart problem (are they young/old), intestinal/digestive injury, piling due to sudden frightening, or may be poisoning/snake, or some other unknown issue. Did you perform post mortem of your chicken, is it broiler/layer, also if it is chick, I can't see how your would get very high ammonia levels in your farm - until and unless there was presence of chemicals that could produce exceptionally high level of ammonia.

@@WInspire thanks for your valuable reply. maybe you are right. Maybe any other issues happened. Just I confirm it . It was happened by ammonia gas or other issues. Now I am clear it. It wasn't happened cause of ammonia problem.
