I am on the seventh season, watching the show for the first time. Winston was pretty unappealing in the beginning, the character didn’t capture my attention like the other two guys and even coach (who had very few episodes). But I’m glad the writers made the character stick to his little quirks and out of the box thinking. Winston really grew on me with time. It was great fun watching him grow, foster relationships and friendships and a unique dynamic with every other character, all while staying true to his inherent weirdness. He never compromised on being himself and I found that inspiring.

i know it was nick who introduced winston and schmidt, and it keeps getting reiterated throughout the show that nick is the bridge between them, but i find there is way more chemistry between winston and schmidt than between winston and nick.
