We went to the first show in Brisbane on Wednesday and to see Winston's smile not only whe they stepped up on the stage but the whole show, was genuinely something special to watch. As for the crowds... next level. My wife is 10 weeks pregnant and wasnt missing the show. We were on the floor for most of the show with about 8 random dudes keeping my wife and i protected from any unwanted bumps to mum or bubs.. It was an absolutely awesome show 🤘🤘

Congrats on the baby! Yeah I've seen them a few times as they've got bigger and as he says it is a memorable show I still remember them all. Last time we actually got seating tickets for a change (everyone was stood up anyway) but it was in an arena and we could see the whole production from slightly above and to stage right near the front. They really are a production not just a gig

I saw Parkway in 2006 and have been hooked ever since. I see them whenever I get the chance and most recently was the show in Brisbane 6 days ago. To see where they are now compared to back in 2006 is so surreal. I can only imagine the pride they all have in what they've created. Needless to say I will be a Parkway fan, until I die, until I die. Loved the correction on the "metal terminology" I've seen it happen all too often where these journalists come in with the wrong information and nothing gets said. As trivial as it may seem THEY NEED TO KNOW!! :'D

I like their music but feel Winston has a good enough voice to not have to "screamo" as much as he does. Would be cool to hear his natural voice more often.
Ай бұрын
To suggest that Winston doesn't sing is highly offensive. But Winston being as humble as possible is the best way to handle it. The singing the host is referring to is melodic singing. That's not all singing is. I can't sing as well as Winston the way he does it. Most people can't. It deserves respect no different to those who specialize in melody. That said, I have my doubts that singing isn't bad for you. All singing isn't good for your voice. And I assume Winston's singing is worse for it than a melody. It has to do something to his general voice longevity, the same way speech does. One of the ways Parkway Drive could become the greatest metal band of all time is their longevity potential. They are healthier than general metal bands. Most metal band singers break down over time. Winston seems roughly the same still. P.S. Winston doesn't scream. He shouts.
