Weber State linebacker Winston Reid finished his career at Weber State in 2023 as a two-time All-American. He started his career as a walk-on in 2017 and finished as an All-American. He also was a two-time first-team All-Big Sky selection.
He played in 47 career games as a Wildcat. He finished his career second in Weber State history in career solo tackles with 170. He totaled 281 career tackles, just outside the top 10, and had 28.5 tackles for loss with seven sacks. He also finished his career tied for the Weber State all-time lead in forced fumbles with nine.
He also twice served as a Wildcat team captain.
In 2023, Reid earned multiple All-America honors and was a first-team All-Big Sky selection. He led the Big Sky and finished eighth in the nation in tackles at 10.7 per game. He also finished fifth in the nation and led the conference in solo tackles with 68, and finished with 118 total tackles. He also was fifth in the conference in tackles for loss with 12. He was named the National Player of the Week after WSU’s win over No. 4 Idaho where he had a career-high 17 tackles.
