I’m the same way with the Christmas lights!!! It’s my favorite when we have cloudy cold days I wake up and put on the Christmas lights! I took all the decorations off my tree and just leave the tree up until beginning of March then it’s a woodsy feel in the house and I still have the fun mood lighting, like you said!!

My go-to decor during January is sparkly winter… add white twinkle lights, snowflake decor, fake pine branches in vases or fake frosted branches. It adds a little light during a dark snowy month.

I don't grate my cheese with a traditional grater. I actually use a non traditional grater that could almost be an oversized zester. It just means that you get a much finer grate when you do the cheese so it leaves smaller, finer pieces that melt faster in spaghetti or your broccoli cheese soup. Heather xo

I'm with you Bonnie, I enjoy time in the kitchen when it's a meal I know will make my family feel warm, cozy and it's healthy (or a healthier version). I like to treat my meal prep like meditation and self-care....it's time for me to organize and prep for the week ahead and it makes me feel on top of my week. The soup looked delicious.

For "Winter" after Christmas, I too also do snowman related. Then from there I do all the holidays in between (V-day, St. Patrick's, Easter). Then I decorate more for Summer, and follow that with 4th of July. Your house and decor is beautiful though!

Hello Bonnie..I have an idea..what about buying a white tree, putting it up after you take down your flocked tree. On that tree, you hang red and pink or white lights and decorate it all Valentines Day decor? Hearts, cute sayings, etc.? It would be super cute!

All of my Christmas decor is green, silver, and gold. The tree has pops of red. All my throw blankets are grays, silvers, golds... and everything is trees and snowflakes. That way the only thing that I need to remove is the tree, like one Merry Christmas sign, and swap out 1 red snowflake blanket for a solid gray.
