My child when he was 5 decided that in the middle of the store was a perfect time to go over our discussion about how important teeth brushing was by pointing out the not so nice teeth of a lady near by and saying "we don't want our teeth like that right mommy and that's why we have to brush all the time" I think I died right there in the store.

My kids are exactly the same. They are appalled by me. I am 44 years old, and when I hear my mother try to truly sing, I have the same response. I think it’s in a kids DNA to chip away at their parents self-esteem one song at a time. Haha The good news is, it won’t stop us!

My son pooped on the floor once and blamed it on the dog. He was just little and the dog had destroyed one of his toys. My dad was babysitting him at the time and he came upstairs with no pants on and told my dad the dog pooped on the floor. My dad nearly died from laughing so hard.

Yes! Lime on onion takes the “spicy” out of it! We do this in Mexico for Pico de Gallo and Ceviche!!! I’ve never been as impressed as I was when I saw my little cousins eat onions chopped in lime and pepper!!!

Stuff cauliflower with mixture and then mix up olive oil, onion powder, garlic, and smoked paprika and brush top and bake

My dad and I listen to old songs in the car and he sings the words like a little bit before they come to kinda show he knows the song. He knows I think it is funny and we sing random old songs in the car together. I love it. Cherish the weird moments with your kids because one day they will remember them and be like my mom sand me this song and I thought it was bad, but they will always remember how much you cared for them and loved you. It is funny because I always remember the odd or weird moments better than the day to day normal. I love you all and am praying for you! ❤️👏

Weird parenting moment: I once had to blow a chocolate raisin out of my, then 4 year olds, sons nose.

More of a scary parenting moment then weird. But one evening I had put my 2 boys to bed and my husband and I were just laying relaxing in our bed (their room is right across the hall from ours) all of a sudden we here our 4 year old cough and then throw up in his bed. We run in there and take him to the bathroom where he throws up again and then he became very out of it and wouldn't respond to any questions we asked him. I started low key panicking so I called 911 while my husband held him. Our boy started shaking and my husband recognized it as a seizure. I just remembered being so scared and dropping to my knees begging God to not take my baby to take me instead. Thankfully the paramedics got to our home very fast and where able to help him and he hasn't had another seizure since. Easily the scariest night of my life though.

I make goals for the year, not resolution’s, my daughter does too, she is 17 and always does what she puts her mind too, lol definitely better than me. I also have her twin brother and 2 older sons that are completely opposite lol. One time I was singing in the car with my kids and my youngest son was about 5 and said ewe mom change the channel, so I changed it and started singing loudly the next song and he was so frustrated 😂😂 boys are so different then girls to raise, but omg there is not a dull moment. So you and I both have 3 boys and one girl but my daughter is my youngest. Love watching you all grow.

I have twins there 13 now but when they were in 2nd grade they both got the flu at the same time and literally both vomited same time when we were on our way to school. They each puked in the car. It was insane. And they were sick all day and it was always one right after the other as soon as one started puking the other one started it was crazy.

My son flipped a three legged tabled over and the leg hit him in the lip. He came running to me I could see his teeth through his lip. Went to ER the sleep meds didn’t work so they wrapped him in a blanket and stitched him. Worst experience ever. It was like torture for him and me watching. He was 3 I should add.

Not a weird parent for me but my mother. When I was sick when I was younger I was too weak to get up so I threw up on my comforter on my bed. Not being able to yell my dog started to eat my vomit. Boy imagine my poor mothers face when she walked in! 🤢
