Thanks mate, sadly if true to form it’s going to be another four or five years before we see another irruption. Only a couple of sightings up in Scotland where they usually see loads.

Cheers, it was a very good start to the year. This year only a Least Sandpiper out of the ordinary but was nice to see a few Hawfinches near Ross on Wye this week.

Hello John! What a great video ! From the beginning to end, wonderful birds and crazy wind not to mention flooded road ! I really enjoyed the filming, all the explanations, and to see the places you went to! Thank you indeed! Those waxwings are stunning and very peculiar in their feeding habits I must say! Thank you Patricia! Hope you’re well too. The last gales blew a gazebo behind the house into the bottom of the garden (I didn’t see the instructions to remove the cover in strong winds!) A big thing in favour of the Baikal Teal being wild is that when it first appeared, another one was found in Yorkshire (I think) at virtually the same time.
