Winter and spring pruning deciduous bonsai

There are 3 reasons why I prune my hornbeam / Deciduous bonsai in Spring. Doing this will help with you fine branching, with branch survival and reduces the risk of mildew.

I really like the branch structure on this tree. It looks really cool all located on the top side of the twisty trunk. Nice tree Jelle! I need to get a Hornbeam I don’t have one… yet :)
