As the humongous rucksack made its way up the hill, the carrying vehicle could be seen a huffin and a puffin ! Followed by spam and noodles, before climbing into its coffin and filling with water ! Now where's that hot bath and breakfast ! 😂👍 Richard Indoors !

My fire trough arrived in time for me to roast some chestnuts for Yule, and I love it. It's small when packed but plenty big enough to cook on. It cools down so quickly once the coals are gone too. My friend has camp stove envy so I've sent her the link. :)

Lovely video, fantastic views! Thanks for taking us along with you. Spam BOMB looked yummy! Although I think the only thing in there that didn't have added salt was the water! Losing your stored water combined with all that salt is going to make for a mighty thirst, for sure! There's something cool (dare I say in today's world "manly"?) about camping out in the rain and cold, especially in a bivi. You fared splendidly. Good show.

Great vid! Enjoyed that. I got my DSLR out yesterday after a few years of none use, forgot how use it so I also tried doing some star photos as I've not been successful with dark shoots. Think I need a tutor like yours. Ace pictures! And what a gorgeous view! I bet packing away in all that rain was horrendous!?

A wonderful video Richard, but a shame with the rain! My Fire Trough arrived in plenty of time for Christmas, but alas, I had to wrap it up and wait until yesterday to play with it! A beautiful piece of kit, and I look forward to testing it very soon! I'd like to ask what the model of grill plate you had in the pack with the trough though... you should look at exposure stacking. you could great some great Milky Way shots from up there. the photopills app will help a lot too, it's excellent for astrophotography.

Hi Steve and thanks. I use a Sony ZV1 for my pieces to camera, a Mavic Mini drone and an Insta 360 ONE X2 (borrowed from a friend) for the 'moving' camera shots. The star/night sky shots were taken using a Canon 650D. Many thanks for watching! Richard.
