Hi folks, we're excited to be back at the bushcraft camp! Quick note to let you all know that the next video will likely be a multi-day paddling trip. We were hoping to go back to the shelter but hurricane Lee cancelled our last trip. The next vid is likely a couple of weeks away but we really want to be releasing a lot more vids this fall. Can't thank you enough for joining us for our trips in the woods and hope that you enjoy this video and the ones to follow! Cheer!! 🙋♂🙋♂🙋♀🙋♀

Honestly, I was never a big fan of the A frame shelter. It might have been cozy but it just looked like it was thrown together. Really am looking forward to seeing how you improve this shelter. I'd really like to see y'all do something with all those stones and downed timber, maybe a little stone cottage built for two?

I have a question I noticed as you were coming into camp you passed a tree with knots around nubs on the base of it I was wondering if that was a pine tree and if possibly be what called kendung, excuse my spelling I am actually talking to this thing and it's writing down what I'm saying a lot of time doesn't understand me so I have to go back and write what I wanted it say.
@jimf1964 Жыл бұрын
So where exactly did you say that mushroom patch was? 😀 So in typical creepy KZbin/google brain scanning, I was just wondering what you guys have been up to, and last night I see this pop up, and it seems like I’ve missed a few. The family has pretty much decided that in 2 years we should be ready to leave the big city, and it looks like we’ll probably be heading your way. So is there much public or crown land out there to camp or hunt? Do people just use Irving or forestry roads, or how does it work? In the big provinces there’s just so much land, much of it inaccessible, but lots of forestry roads for logging.

Since you asked, absolutely HATE that microphone. Voice doesn't sound very clear or realistic, and everything else sounds like ASMR, which for me might as well be fingernails on a slate blackboard. All the wrong frequencies are enhanced. Completely unnatural, unlike if we were there with you. Please change back or buy a more natural mic. 😊 0:11
