Absolutely love the silence, apart from the natural noises. No music, no talking. Just dripping water, fire cracking, wood chopping etc. It really draws you in so you almost feel that you're actually there. So calming, relaxing, and great to watch at bedtime to help get to sleep. I shut my eyes and continue the adventure on my own......😴.zzzzzz.😴

I get so much from your videos, bushcraft, campfires, cooking. Wonderful. I bought my son that little buck saw you used for Christmas along with a Mora knife. I’m projecting here. I can't believe its been 5 months since I found your channel, truly it has been the best 5months of my life because its when it all began for me. your videos literally induced a light bulb 💡 moment in my life and words will never be enough to express my gratitude. 1.Because of you, I appreciate a life I used to hate so much that I couldn't wait to get out of it 2. Because of you, I started living more simply and it has made a happier human being 3. Brother Swede👍👍 Note to self: read description before watching video😊 When the snow falls just a few inches, it insulates the surrounding land from reflecting noise. Here in the desert southwest US, it gets deadly silent when that happens, eerily beautiful and haunting at times. Bush style hot dogs, nice. Ribs on a stick, I bet they were tasty cooked over an open fire. Fishing is like gambling, sometimes you get lucky... Great video, well done and presented as always. Thanks for the hard work to bring us along. Until next time....Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your forest tour in this video. What I really enjoyed in your video, is the pure practicality, your methods are not exaggerated they are simple and useful. I really like the fact that you don't bring anything that is unnecessary except the camera, but I am obviously happy about that. In the past I was doing some bush craft too, mostly small trips and didn't really slept in the forest much. I think, it is time, to try it again. Eh, you really made me remember some nice memories. Good morning from Colorado. I always smile when watching you go about preparing your meal. I suspect you are more comfortable in the wild than your own kitchen. 🙂 Wanted to thank you for an older video. I've wanted to make a "scotch-eyed auger", and yesterday, found the video where you made one. So, today I have a new project!! I learned, also yesterday, that the fires here are now 100% contained, and the Forest Service has lifted the fire restrictions. Good news!! I can finally head out to my favorite trail heads and mountain camping spots. It will be cold! A small sacrifice to make, to be able to get back to the mountains. I'm nearing 70, and I have learned to appreciate those trips more than ever. Not sure how many more trips I have left in these old legs. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks for what you do. Be well. Roger Edit: Not familiar with the "Lumonite" head lamp, but it seems to be a hell of a light. Nice addition to your kit.
